Prestressed concrete panels offer a quick and cost-effective solution when constructing livestock buildings. The concrete panels will withstand the impact loading of the livestock and cleaning out of the shed with mechanical equipment. The panels are tongue & grooved to allow for easy alignment & fitment. They are either bolted to the stanchion with a galvanized fixing plate or they can be fixed to the inside of or slotted down in-between the flanges on the stanchions.
Our panels also have chamfered edges to reduce the chance of chipping when installing, this also provides a ‘V’ shape when panels are located on top of each other, this ‘V’ allows for a strip of mastic to be located to provide a smooth seal to prevent moisture ingress if required.
Most Livestock panels would be 100mm in thickness with standard stock lengths of 4.572m (15ft) and 6.096m (20ft) although any length up to 7m can be manufactured in any of the heights we offer, see below. We can also produce Double-Loaded panels where required for internal divisions where pressure can be absorbed from either side of the panel.
